(MT)Magnetic particle inspection is a non-destructive testing method that can effectively detect surface and near surface defects in valve welding areas. During the inspection process, the magnetic powder is evenly sprayed onto the surface of the ductile iron butterfly valves, and then the magnetic field is used to gather the magnetic powder at the defect site, forming obvious magnetic marks, thereby accurately determining whether there are cracks, pores, slag inclusions and other defects in the welding area.
Our factory's technical personnel operate strictly in accordance with testing standards and procedures with a high sense of responsibility and professional spirit. They carefully adjust the magnetic field strength and the amount of magnetic powder sprayed to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results. Any defects detected shall be promptly recorded and analyzed, and corresponding repair measures shall be taken until the 1200mm butterfly valve fully meets the quality requirements.
