Wafer End Type Knife Gate Valve
Wafer type knife gate valve movement direction is perpendicular to the flow direction, and the medium is cut off by the blade type disc which can cut the fiber material. The wafer knife gate has two sealing surfaces. The wedge angle of the two sealing surfaces of the most commonly used gate valve varies with the valve parameters, which is usually 50, The gate of wedge type knife gate valve can be made into a whole, which is called rigid gate; it can also be made into a gate which can produce slight deformation, so as to improve its processability and make up for the deviation of sealing surface angle during processing. This kind of gate is called elastic gate. In fact, there is no chamber in the valve body. The gate plate rises and falls in the side guide groove and is pressed tightly on the valve seat by the lug at the bottom. If high medium sealing performance is required, diamond sealing seat can be selected to realize bidirectional sealing. Knife gate valve has small installation space, low working pressure, not easy to accumulate debris, low price.
